Phoenix Sports 1-2 Sittingbourne

Phoenix Sports ended their home campaign with a 2-1 loss to Sittingbourne - a result which confirms the visitors 3rd place in the table.

In a scrappy game where the ball spent far too much time in the clouds it was the visitors that took a first half lead.
Mitchell May capitalised on some dithering at the back before rolling the ball into a near-empty net.

Midway through the second half Sittingbourne doubled their advantage. A corner was swung into the near post where Joe Tyrie was unmarked and waiting to head home.

Phoenix responded well and quickly got back into the game through an Adejola Lahan header and then came close to an equaliser when Tashi-Jay Kwayie blasted over from close range but Sittingbourne just needed the result a bit more and it was little surprise that they went home with the 3 points.
