Reserves kick-off the new season this Saturday, away to Snodland Town.

The reserves have had a busy pre-season preparing for the month's ahead. Over the course of the summer they played many teams, including Croydon Athletic at home.

For the match at home against Croydon, the management team got a good look at the squad, with the game ending 2-2 on the night. There were great performances from all who played, including a great individual goal from Adem Ramadan, who had also featured for the 1st team a few times in pre-season.

Now with the season start just 24 hours away, final preparations are underway to ensure the squad get off to a flying start.

Opponents Snodland Town FC have been enjoying life in the top flight of the Kent County League since 1992. Last season their team who play in blue and yellow, finished 8th in the league, five places above Phoenix.

When the two teams met last season the first fixture saw Phoenix record a 5-1 win at home, which was followed by a 4-1 win for Snodland when Phoenix travelled to their ground for the return leg.

To find out who ends up victorious this time around, come and support your local side tomorrow when they face each other in the opening match of the SCEFL 2017/18 season.
