Academy's FA Youth Cup run comes to an end

Our Academy have been having an amazing run of late in the FA Youth Cup, but sadly this week that came to an end with a loss against Whitehawk.

Following victories against VCD, Dartford and Ebbsfleet, the Academy boys had hoped to continue their winning streak as they lined up against the Sussex side in the 3rd Qualifying round.

Unfortunately, it wasn't to be and despite battling right to the very end, Whitehawk's were the victors in this battle. Final score: Whitehawk 4-3 Phoenix Academy.

Whitehawk are a very strong side and the team should be extremely proud of all that they have achieved so far. All at Phoenix wish them luck for the remainder of the season.
