A hard battle ends in a 1-0 loss for the 1st Team squad in their third pre-season friendly.

Vanarama National League South, Dartford FC continued their winning streak against Phoenix, making it the three friendly wins out of three last Saturday.

It was a tough test for the newly constructed Phoenix 1st Team, with the squad undergoing many changes before pre-season, but despite the 1-0 loss they should be proud of the performance they gave.

They stuck at it, dug deep and worked hard against a very established and strong Dartford side.

There was just a single goal separating the two teams, with Dartford going ahead in the 16th minute with a goal from Warren Mfula.

Despite efforts from both sides, in both halves, this is how the score line remained.

All in all, another great performance from the home side! Go Phoenix!
