Broadbridge Heath gained a 3-1 win over Phoenix Sports but the game was closer than the score suggests.

The Bears took the lead with their first attack of note after 14 minutes when Jamie Chesworth's corner was headed on by Tad Bro-mage for his defensive part-ner Ryan Brackpool to bundle the ball home.

Louis Evans made it 2-0 when he pounced on a defensive error but Phoenix came back after the break and Tashi Jay Kwayie re-duced the deficit.

Deep into time added, a Heath counter-attack saw Sam Lemon in acres of space some 20 yards and he rifled a right foot shot that flew into the back of the net.
