Phoenix Sports edged an even contest in blustery conditions against Sevenoaks Town at the Mayplace Ground.
The visitors had the better of the first half and went close when Frankie Sawyer shot wide and Fraser Walker had an effort clip the upright. It was Sports that led at the break though thanks to a Jeff Duah-Kessie penalty following a clear handball in the area.
Chances were few and far between in the second half but Lauris Chin should have evened the scoreline when shooting wide in the 55th minute. Danny Young directed a corner on to the post late on for Phoenix who then held on for a narrow victory.
