Phoenix Sports eased their relegation worries with a deserved victory at home to Sheppey United.

It was the visitors that took the lead though.
On the half hour mark Danny Leonard shot just wide. A minute later and he was far more accurate.

Phoenix responded in style. Firstly Adejola Lahan arrived at the far post to poke home a Ryan Hayes corner before Palace Francis scored the goal of the game - a fine individual effort where he beat two men and found the top corner.

Early in the second half Andy Walker saved a penalty from Sheppey captain Richie Hamill and the hosts were able to go on from that, spoil the game and seal the win in the final minute.

Substitutes Joe Thomas and Temi Oladejo combined well, Joe with the supply, Temi with the late finish.
