A poor performance from Phoenix sees our visitors return home as comfy winners.
The Millers went ahead on sixteen minutes through Jensen Grant, and were three-nil up by the break, Michael Ademiluyi and Matthew Vigor adding to the lead. After the break they ran riot, Lyle Della-Verde, Kyrell Lisbie, Grant once more and Freddie Parker putting them seven up with twenty three minutes left, and although an Isaac Thompson double salvaged some pride for the hosts, it didn’t help much.
Mistakes and a bit of bad luck is costing us dear at the moment but we always knew this would be a tough season, and it has certainly started out that way.
