Phoenix Sports are excited to announce the signing of Ahkeem Belford from Beckenham Town on Thursday.

Ahkeem, a left-sided defender, has made 23 appearances this season for Beckenham who currently sit in fifth in the Isthmian South East League.

The defender, who has previously played for Tooting & Mitcham and Dulwich Hamlet returns to play for manager Darren Anslow having previously worked together at Beckenham.

“Ahkeem is a big signing for the club,” said Anslow.

“He will strengthen us defensively and offer us further options going forward. I’m delighted to get the deal done and look forward to seeing him in a Phoenix shirt.”

Belford’s first game for Phoenix could be against his former club on Saturday, as the Sports travel to Eden Park Avenue to face Beckenham.
