1st Team return triumphant as they net important away win against Corinthian Casuals in the league.

In what was probably the performance of the season so far, the 1st Team pulled it out the bag as they beat table toppers Corinthian Casuals 2-0 away from home.

Frankie Sawyer got us off the mark with heading home a great goal, from a Christie Pattison cross in the 34th minute of the first half to make it 1-0 to Phoenix.

The squad fought their way through every moment of this match, and then in the 84th minute Jeff Duah-Kessie sealed the win with a cheeky back heal into the home sides net.

Congratulations to Paul Bryon and the entire squad on this fantastic win. Next up for the team is another away match against current league leaders, Lewes on Wednesday, 29th November.

In the meantime, for those in need of their regular weekend fix of football, the Reserves are at home this Saturday in the London Senior Trophy Cup where they will face-off against Essex Senior League side, Hackney Wick FC. Let's get behind them and give them the support they deserve.

Go Phoenix!!
