The first of a run of five home pre-season friendlies for the 1st team will be against Welling United.

With the recent appointment of current Phoenix Academy coach, Jack Richardson as Player Coach for Welling United, this fixture looks set to be an exciting match for the two sides.

Phoenix will look to continue preparations for their switch in divisions, as well as further test new signings. While Welling will look to improve on their 16th place finish in the Vanarama National League South Division last season, as well as give recent signings such as Alfie Pavey from Millwall and the returning Wings favourite Joe Healy from Dover Athletic, more game time.
