As the 1st Team begin to prepare for their pre-season campaign and the season ahead, manager Steve O’Boyle has secured the signatures of two new forwards - Jack Barham and Frankie Sawyer, who he hopes will bring a mix of experience and strike-power to the already strong squad.

21-year-old Jack Barham joins us from recently promoted side Thurrock, who he joined on deadline day from Tilbury last season. Having scored lots of goals for both sides, O’Boyle has high hopes that Barham will do the same and more for Phoenix this year.

Experienced and prolific goalscorer Frankie Sawyer joins Phoenix from Hythe Town. Frankie has a lot of Ryman league experience and has consistently scored for all of the clubs he has previously played for, with manager Steve O’Boyle believing he will be a great asset to the club next season.
