In the early exchanges Faversham have the better of the game and in the 17th minute are awarded a free kick and Stannard curls the ball into the top corner leaving Frenchie no chance.
Faversham continue to have the better of the game until the 37th minute when an Ashley Probets' inswinging corner from the right is punched clear by the Faversham keeper. After a lot of toing & froing the ball falls to Jack Hopkins who taps home.
Phoenix are now on top as straight from the kick-off, Kweku Ansah unleashes a 30 yarder that's pushed over by the keeper, and Jeff Duah-Kessie goes close as his shot goes narrowly past the right hand post.
With Faversham hanging on the whistle comes for half time
Phoenix continue the momentum they had before the end of the first half.
With Phoenix on top Faversham manage to get the ball into the area and a deflection off Frenchie falls to a Faversham player who fires home from 10 yards.
Faversham are now on top and have 3 or 4 good chances which they squander and against the run of play a quick break from Phoenix and Jeff Duah-Kessie wins a corner, from which Hoppo stabs home for his second of the game.
Its now end to end stuff and in the last action of the game Frenchie spills a ferocious shot and Faversham scramble the ball over the line.
